The Museum of Papermaking is located in Duszniki-Zdrój, in Kłodzko County, near the Czech border. They were founded in an old, 16th/17th century paper mill located on the river Bystrzyca Dusznicka.
The Museum of Papermaking in Duszniki Zdrój is located near the city center. The national road number 8 passes directly near it, which facilitates access from Kudowy-Zdrój and Kłodzko, among others. When planning to visit the Museum of Papermaking (Duszniki), it is best to check the opening hours on its website, where up-to-date information on the offer is always provided. At the moment, the museum is available to visitors from 9:00am. During the high season (May-August) it closes from Monday to Saturday at 18:00, and on Sundays at 16:00. During the low season (November-April), it is open throughout the week from 9:00 to 15:00am, and in September and October 9:00-17:00 (Monday — Saturday) and 9:00-16:00 (Sunday).
What do prices look like in the Museum of Papermaking in Duszniki? Tickets, given the number of attractions, are not expensive. In addition to the standard offers, there are also discounts for pupils, students, teachers and pensioners. A family ticket is also available for a maximum of 2 adults and a child (one or more) between 7 and 18 years of age. - collection of the most valuable Polish banknotes issued from 1794 to 2017 made available as part of the exhibition “Polish paper money”,
- a demonstration showing the production of handmade paper,
- paper drawing workshops — workshops held in the Museum of Paper in Duszniki last 1 hour. During them, each participant independently makes a piece of paper, using a medieval technique for this. Classes are additionally paid and the price is the same regardless of the age of the person taking part in them.
Visiting the Paper Museum in Duszniki, it is also worth paying attention to the building itself. Distinguished by interesting architecture, it is at the same time one of the few buildings of this type in Europe that still operate today.
